TGM CHARITABLE TRUST AND ITS FOUNDER
Late Tara Mathur wife of Shri Greesh Kumar Mathur died on 9th August 1996. Tara Greesh Mathur Charitable Trust (TGM Trust) was registered in Delhi in her memory in 1998. Few other colleagues joined Mr. Mathur in establishing the Trust. It started with less than Rs. 50000/- donation and is much bigger today with three rental properties. Donors get income Tax relief as per rules. The Trust has Carried out charitable activities in the following manner.
– Cash Donation to Class 10th passed students of 5 colleges and intermediate pass students of one college. All carried appropriate Gold Medals and Certificate.
– Donation of Tricycles with Steel box at the back of handicapped persons. This enabled them tobe independent by selling articles stored in the box.
– Cash donation with beautiful Certificate to final year student of Engineering of a Meerut College.
– Opening of a Computer Centre for students to learn use of the same.
– Distribution of books.
